Head Brewer Third Ave
Started as a bartender with Pizza Port upon Ocean Beach opening in May 2010. Worked way up to delivery driver and eventually assistant brewer under Mike Aubuchon at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Was offered oppurtunity to move to "sister brewery", the Lost Abbey/ Port/ Hop Concept, in December 2013. Jumped at the chance to further my growth and knowledge of beer making on a larger scale. Was an integral member of the brewhouse, cellar ops, and barrel blending team. Bittersweet to "leave the nest", I love and owe a lot to every brewer I worked with in my 8 years in the Pizza Port/ Abbey fam. I am looking forward to this next challenge of being the head guy and applying everything I have learned from those brewers. Only achievements (so far!), are the shared medals over the years at the Lost Abbey/ Port Brewing.
